As a peak body and member network, we’re here to grow the impact of the neighbourhood and community centre sector. Our vision is to see neighbourhoods transformed into thriving communities that are self-directed, connected and resourceful.

We do this by growing the collective impact of the Neighbourhood and Community Centre sector by increasing resourcing, recognition and relationships at the local, state & national level.

With 130+ members, our network is the largest community-led infrastructure in Queensland. We collaborate with our members, partners and government for community and social resilience.

Nepean Community & Neighbourhood Services

NCNS provides local, flexible and responsive social support services to vulnerable communities, families and children in the Penrith LGA. Operating from 3 Neighbourhood Centres and 1 Aboriginal Family Centre - our activities such as Breakfast Clubs, Youth Activities, Aboriginal Cultural programs and child and family services such as playgroups, provide accessible connection points to the service system for families that are most at-risk. Through these high quality and engaging activities, we can develop the trust and relationship to provide more targeted services such as case management, parenting programs and home visiting services to address complex issues of mental health, drug and alcohol, domestic and family violence and child neglect and abuse. Being accessible, consistent and building trusting relationships - we are able to make positive3 interventions at key developmental points to change the life trajectory for children and young people. Our school chaplains work in 3 local schools providing individual and group programs to support child wellbeing. Our Aboriginal Family Centre - Koolyangarra - is an active centre for Aboriginal community and cultural activities. Our Casework team supports up to 60 families at any time - keeping children safe and supporting parents.

Nerang Neighbourhood Centre Inc

We offer a suite of free community services to those in need. Our services include; foodbank, youth support, youth employment program, bulk billed social worker/counsellor, legal advice, migration advice, tax return help, emergency relief and advice & information.

NESAY

NESAY is a youth and family community agency based in North East Victoria.
Our mission is to support young people and their families in our community to achieve their goals and aspirations. We work towards this through providing a range of services across North East Victoria that enables young people to achieve safe housing, develop their independent living skills, foster and nurture family relationships and sustain education and employment. To achieve this, we work closely with education, health, legal, family, mental health, local government and family violence prevention agencies.
Our team of highly skilled staff are dedicated and passionate about providing services that meet the needs of young people and their families.

New Hope Care is a registered not-for-profit organisation which exists to bring a hope and a future, to provide relief from poverty, suffering, distress, and misfortune to those around central Brisbane.

We offer services such as:

New Life Chapel

We are based in Wodonga, VIC.
We run a free supermarket each Wednesday 12 to 2pm, where clients can decide on products that suit their household. Groceries, fruit and veg, frozen meals.
We also have a Hamper Closet for emergency food relief (parcels) during business hours.
We also stock hygiene packs for other agencies (Youth homeless agencies, rehab agencies) to utilise.

New South Wales Reconstruction Authority

We are the lead disaster management agency for NSW, responsible for all aspects of disaster recovery and building community resilience to future disasters. We oversee and coordinate emergency management policy and service delivery with a focus on social, economic, infrastructure and natural environment outcomes.

Newborn Intensive Care Foundation

The Newborn Intensive Care Foundation was established in 1995 as a result of the very short life of Hanna Cursley – born 18 November 1993. It was created to assist in the development of the Centre for Newborn Care at Canberra Hospital. Our support covers a wide range of activities, which includes the provision of medical equipment not available through normal Government channels. In addition, the Foundation supports research and education activities so that the Unit can contribute to the global fund of knowledge of problems of the newborn. It is only through such activity that the service is able to maintain its exemplary standards in this arena. Please help the cause by making a donation.

Newcastle Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service

The Newcastle Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Services (NWDVCAS) is a locally based, independent service for women and their children seeking information and help about domestic and family violence and how to get protection from the court.

We have specialist workers to help Aboriginal women, women from multicultural backgrounds, older women and women with disabilities.

We support you during the court process. We work with you, your legal representative and the police to make sure the conditions of your AVO suit your needs.

Newlife Care Inc

Newlife Care provides a range of services that support those doing it tough in the Gold Coast community. The services include:
1. Emergency Food Service
2. Counselling & Psychology
3. Princess for a Day - a pampering program for ladies doing it tough (including those escaping domestic violence). Services include haircuts, manicures, facials and make up, massage, a gift bag, morning tea and someone to talk with.
4. Crossroads - a social engagement and capacity building program for people with a disability.
5. Street Care - Providing street swags, food and clothing for homeless people and providing food and support for the long term residents of a low social-economic caravan park.
6. Christmas Project providing Christmas food and gifts for 550 families doing it tough.
7. Training Women Well a program helping ladies to build basic life skills and re-engage in community.
We also have an Op Shop providing free and low cost clothing and household items to those in need.

Newmerella Primary School

Newmerella Primary school is an active member of the Far East Gippsland Learning Alliance (FEGLA) of schools that work closely together to improve teaching and learning and optimize academic, arts, social and sports opportunities for students and professional learning for staff. We welcome and gratefully appreciate family input, involvement and support.

Next Step Communities Inc

NSC creates youth employment programs that increase employability, and addresses the effects of at least one other disadvantage experienced within low socio-economic communities.

Nexus Care is passionate about helping to alleviate poverty in the community by strengthening individuals and families through effective services, the mobilisation of volunteers and cooperation with other organisations.

Nexus Primary Health

Nexus Primary Health (Nexus) is a non-profit organisation that is committed to excellence in the delivery of holistic, accessible, community-based health services that meet quality and safety standards.

Nexus also has an extensive volunteer base that services Murrindindi and Mitchell in meals on wheels, social support and transport.

Ngaanyatjarra Council Aboriginal Corporation

The Ngaanyatjarra Council (Aboriginal Corporation) represents the interests of around 2000 Ngaanyatjarra, Pintupi and Pitjantjatjara Traditional Owners (Yarnangu) who reside in the eleven member communities of the Ngaanyatjarra Council.

Ngaarda Media Aboriginal Corporation

Ngaarda Media offers a platform for Indigenous and Non-indigenous people across the Pilbara to tell their stories through radio, photography and videography. It is dedicated to nurturing and keeping culture strong. Ngaarda Media presents Aboriginal culture in an inspiring and meaningful way, across all digital media, to allow more people to experience the oldest living culture on earth.
Ngaarda Media was originally established as the media element of the Juluwarlu Group Aboriginal Corporation’s activities focussed on the preservation, recording and promoting of the culture of the Yindijibarndi people. It now operates as an independent body that is able to promote all the cultural and language groups of the Pilbara region.
Ngaarda Media Aboriginal Corporation is a not for profit organisation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006.(CATSI Act).

Ngala is an early intervention and education service that helps parents to navigate the challenges of raising children, by using 130 years of experience and knowledge of childhood development, to develop strategies tailored to our customers’ personal circumstances. Our future looks to new, innovative approaches to deliver on our mission. Support from Government, including the health sector, community sector, education sector, corporate sector, university partners and everyday donors make this possible.

Ngala - Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY)

Ngala supports parents, families and communities to enhance the well-being and development of children and young people. Ngala delivers many services across WA including the Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY). HIPPY is a home visiting service for vulnerable ad disadvantaged families to empower them to be their child's first teacher. HIPPY is a free service for families which provides educational packs, storybooks and other resources as well as a tutor who visits them in the comfort of their own home. We also provide group gatherings where the families can meet other HIPPY families in a community setting.
