The Mingenew Community Resource Centre (CRC) has played an integral part in providing services to the Mingenew Shire community for the last 29 years. We are a Not for Profit organisation that provides access to Government services, public computers, community workshops, events and provides printing and promotional services to local groups and businesses. We also operate the Mingenew Post Office..
We strive to be the community hub in providing evolving technology, education, training, information, and engagement opportunities. Driving economic growth and social cohesion within the community.

Mingoola Hall Management Committee

The Mingoola Hall Management Committee and its subcommittee Mingoola Progress Association exists primarily as a social hub for the district, and as a support for those in need. In the last few years during drought, bushfires and floods, and COVID it has become even more important as a mechanism to seek advice and help for those in need.

Youth and Family Counselling Service, Community, support, food bank and emergency relief assistance, social groups, youth programs, kids after school and holiday programs, student placements.

Mission Australia - Aherlkeme Development Centre

This facility provides transitional accommodation to people and families at risk of being homeless. It provides life skills to assist people to move into public or private rentals and with ongoing support

Mission Australia - Batten Road Homelessness Program

The Batten Road Integrated Homelessness Supported Accommodation Program is a collaboration of complementary services and agencies that is establishing co-located specialist supports such as Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug, Health Care, and other specialist homelessness providers. Mission Australia provides client engagement and case coordination services, as well as throughcare for people who are either living in, or accessing services at the facility.

Bega Mission Australia Specialist Homelessness Service provides case management for those struggling to find accommodation and refuge accommodation for women experiencing domestic and family violence.

Going Places Homeless Program is a multidisciplinary street-to-home program which combines clinical health services with coordinated case management to support people sleeping rough in Cairns to move into stable, long-term and sustainable housing.

It is one of three interrelated services in Cairns: Going Places street-to-home program, and the Douglas House and Woree Supported Housing Accommodation services.

Mission Australia - Darwin Sobering Up Shelter

Provides overnight accommodation to those under the influence of alcohol or other drugs and who have been delivered to the shelter by NT Police or Night Patrol. Shelter staff provide client referrals to other services which may be able to assist the client focus group to improve their lifestyles. Engagement with clients is done in a sensitive and culturally respectful method to ensure clients feel safe at all times.

Mission Australia - Domestic Violence Outreach

FDV Outreach is an early intervention and prevention strategy, aiming to increase the safety of
women and children who experience or live with family and domestic violence. The Outreach role
will provide a valuable additional resource to increase the safety of women and children in Hedland
and surrounding communities. The approach taken will be consistent with other outreach services
provided by Mission Australia across Australia, in order to support women to make choices about:
• Living without violence;
• Escaping an abusive relationship;
• Taking legal action;
• Protecting yourself and your children;
• How and where you can live safely;

Mission Australia - Drug and Alcohol Youth Service - Carlisle

The Youth Withdrawal and Respite Service provides a safe and supported short-stay residential environment to help young people aged 12-21 years to manage their withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs and/or take time out from environmental influences and pressures.

Residential Rehabilitation aims to provide young people with a friendly, supportive and structured environment to complete a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Its focus is to provide both physical and emotional safety while they engage in treatment to transition back into the community. This is a three month program and residents are required to pay rent during their stay.

Transitional Program provides support to young people engaging at DAYS residential programs to transition into supported accommodation in the community.

Mission Australia - Drug and Alcohol Youth Service - East Perth

Mission Australia - Early Intervention and Tenancy Support Service - South Sydney

The South Western Sydney Early Intervention and Tenancy Support Service supports adults (over 18) and families at risk of, and who have recently become, homeless to prevent homelessness before it becomes entrenched. The service operates in Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly, Wingecarribee, and Bankstown LGAs, providing outreach, referrals, tenancy support, advocacy, information and advice, and access to brokerage.

Mission Australia - Going Places Toowoomba

Going Places Toowoomba is a mobile support service for young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Our knowledgeable staff provide specialized case management support to young people who are sleeping rough, couch surfing or living at home. This included working with young people and their families, where appropriate, to resolve the issues that are putting them at risk of homelessness.

Hambledon House has been a valued support to the South Cairns area since it first opened its doors and it is still the place to go for community information, community connection and support. Here at Hambledon House Community Centre there is no wrong door. If we do not have the service or intervention here you are looking for, we will do all we can to find and link you to the most appropriate service or intervention for you.

Mission Australia - HASI Inner West

The Housing & Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) offers flexible support to people 16 years and over with a severe and persistent mental illness through psychosocial recovery support within the community. HASI works with people on their recovery journey, encouraging independence, promotion of self-esteem and a strong focus on each individual’s strengths, while also aiming to reduce hospital admissions, recidivism and homelessness.
